Simphony Cloud EMC

To access the new EMC for Simphony Cloud, you must first install the new EMC client.

  • HOW TO INSTALL
    • If you are off campus, first connect through the F5 VPN
    • Launch the “Software Center” on your computer
      • Enter “Software Center” in the search box in the bottom left corner or,
      • Click on the “Software Center” application tile in the Start Menu
    • In the “Applications” section, select the “RHS – Simphony EMC” program to install it
    • After installed, a new shortcut (red Oracle icon) will appear on your desktop
      • Click the icon to launch the client
  • LOGIN TO EMC
    • Double-click the red EMC shortcut on your desktop and enter:
    • Be sure to set up your security questions so that you can reset your password as needed.
  • PASSWORD RESET
    • See attached SOP.
    • If you experience issues, contact your supervisor or the DSS Service Desk for assistance.
  • CONFIGURATION
    • Unit users are responsible for configuration within the application.
    • SOPs for configuration are managed within the department unit.
    • Recommend users search the vendor's Help Center website https://docs.oracle.com/en/ and search "Simphony EMC" for lots of great articles and step by step instructions on configuration.
    • If users still experience issues, contact the application administrator through DSS Service Desk, to submit a service request to Oracle support services.
